Hoang Thi Hoa

Ms. Hoa graduated from University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2008 and Master of Public Health from Hanoi School of Public Health in 2015. She has over 7 years of working experience in developmental projects in HIV/AIDS prevention, social work, early detection and early intervention for children with disabilities and children with autism.
She has worked as project officer in “Smart care to expand the access to services of children with autism in Vietnam” at CCIHP since October 2015. From 2019, she has worked for CCIHP as Project Coordinator of I Thrive - Tôi lớn mạnh project, funded by USAID

Ms Ngoc graduated master degree in Child and Youth Development Psychology in 2017. She has more than 3 years of experience working directly with children with mental and developmental delays. With more than 15 years experience working as counsellor for CHAT project to provide information and education on reproductive and sexual health (SRH) (including HIV/AIDS) for young people through internet (website: http://tamsubantre.org ). Via a lot of activities such as events, community-based comunication, Mrs. Lan Anh support young people in community seeking SRH information with respect, rights-based approach and diversity. Ms. Lan Anh is also an professional educator on SRHR for young people

Nguyen Thanh Son
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son is a senior technical staff with many years of experience working in public health, population, and development including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Reproductive Health, and Disability. Currently, he is Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager of the Inclusion 1 Project. Before working for CCIHP, he was MEL Specialist at VNAH, PATH Vietnam as well as Senior Program Officer on M&E at Family Health International (FHI360) Vietnam. His areas of specialization cover needs/situation assessment, program planning and design, performance monitoring, evaluation, and operational research as well as strategy and proposal development. He got a Master’s Degree in Population and Reproductive Health Research from Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, Thailand in 1998.

Dr. Hoang Tu Anh is both a founding member and Director of the Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP). She works in several research, training, and intervention programs on gender, sexuality, and HIV. She has extensive experience of working with disadvantaged groups such as adolescents, gender-based violence survivors and perpetrators, people living with HIV, and sexual minorities using a participatory and right-based approach in Vietnam and the region. Much of her effort is on building research and dissemination capacity in Vietnam and transforming research into effective advocacy and interventions. She is the former chair of the Vietnam Sexual Rights Alliance, faculty member of the SouthEast Asia Consortium on Gender, Sexuality and Health, Directory Board member of the Asia-Pacific Research and Resource Center for Women (ARROW), and member of the IDAHO International advisor committee. Her current interests are civil society movement and gender-based violence toward married women and LGBT people using symbolic violence, heteronormativity, and panopticon framework.

Dr. Minh is a medical doctor, researcher, and public health professional with more than 20 years of professional experience in research and M&E of a wide range of public health programs. He has expertise in the design, management, analysis, and dissemination of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research projects. He also has extensive experience in the development and implementation of M&E systems. At CCIHP, he is currently responsible for day-to-day office operations, fundraising, work planning, budget monitoring, and partner relations. In addition, Dr. Minh is the principal researcher for studies focusing on health system reform, reproductive health, and gender. He also provides technical assistance on research methodology for health professionals and medical students, focusing on quantitative research methods, and designs and implements operational research integrated with M&E systems of health interventions at different levels in Vietnam. Before founding CCIHP with colleagues, Dr. Minh was a researcher and lecturer at the Community Health Research Unit of Hanoi Medical University. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed international journal articles, working papers, and research reports focusing on reproductive health and gender.

Ha is a medical doctor and public health specialist, whose Ph.D. research was on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Hanoi, Vietnam. She is the founder of the Center for Creative Initiates in Health and Population (CCIHP), an NGO in Vietnam with its mission of promoting health equality, diversity, and health for all people in society. For the past 20 years, her research has focused on gender, sexuality and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and disability. Currently, Ha is working on the research component of a five-year project on HIV, and leading operational research to develop mobile health to promote early identification of and interventions for children with ASD, a study on using social media to promote early identification of developmental disorders, and public engagement research with young people and siblings of individuals with ASD using photovoice and visual-art based methods. She is the author and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and policy briefs

Quach Thi Thu Trang

Master of Art in Medical Sociology, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand
Mrs. Trang graduated Masters degree in Medical Sociology focusing on Gender, Sexuality, and Health at Mahidol University in 2006. Trang has accumulated extensive experience in designing and implementing qualitative research, intervention models, and capacity building in gender equality, prevention of gender-based violence, and sexual diversity.
Since 2014, Mrs. Trang has prioritized the activities on stigma and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation, health equity for minorities (LGBT, people with disabilities, people living with HIV), and promoted the participation of private sectors in health equity for minority groups.
